Log Handling Rebuild

The log handling bumper system at the head saw of this mill was worn out and sloppy making cutting accurately and square labour-intensive and nearly impossible. We rebuilt the entire bumper system including the measuring stop to allow for precise control of the incoming logs. The rebuild has increased the efficiency of the operation and reduced waste of the expensive logs, while also improving the quality of the product. Money well spent.
